The Hampton Inn, the Holiday Inn ExpressDays Inn, and Comfort Suites - are all less than 7 minutes drive from the festival. Arrive Friday to be "Rested and Ready" for Saturday@AFRAM.

The ADINKRA symbol at left is identified as "UJIMA", which is the theme for this year and is taken from the seven principles of Kwanzaa.  "UJIMA" means "Cooperative Work and Responsibility"

The Eastern Shore AFRAM festival is an annual African American cultural festival which celebrates a variety of traditional arts, cultures, and stories from across the African Diaspora and within the Delmarva community. These treasures enrich a multitude of guests from across the Mid Atlantic - and beyond.  The cultural and community event includes features derived from African and Pan African traditions, influencing artistic (visual, performing, culinary and material), educational (including oral histories and storytelling), and our Spiritual experiences. JOIN US EVERY AUGUST on the 2nd Saturday to discover and enjoy the host of attractions the Eastern Shore AFRAM Festival offers this summer.
