Pastor Helena M. Bailey is a native of Sussex County who received her public education in the Indian River School District. She is a graduate of Sussex Central Senior High. She received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the Logos Christian College and Graduate School in Jacksonville, Florida. SANKOFA African  Dance Company - 11 AM
“EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT THROUGH THE ARTS” - Sankofa African Dance Company is comprised of talented and creative youth from inner city Dover, Delaware and throughout the Central Delaware Area. Steeped in the Guinea Tradition and a West African model of drum and dance, the Company has visited West Africa to acquire first-hand percussion and dance knowledge. Sankofa traveled to Senegal, West Africa and The Gambia to perfect their dance and drumming skills. The Company relies upon a dedicated staff of professionals & volunteers.
